Monthly Variable Component
We can set MVC and set it as either as a percentage in the basic salary component for the users.
We can also set ranks for the users and in that those particular groups of people with the defined ranks are only eligible for MVC.
Kindly check if you have logged in to Carbonate before making these changes.
Go to the settings.
Click on payroll under the “More” option.
Go to the MVC option and enable the same.
If you wish to select the MVC for the same for all, then kindly specify the variable percentage that needs to consider as an MVC of the basic salary
If you wish to segregate it based on basic salary then you can define the range of salary by clicking on add MVC rate.
You can also set the ranks for the MVC, then only the selected ranks will be eligible for the MVC component based on either basis salary or you can define the range for the salary and mention the MVC percentage.
Click on save.
