How to Rejoin or Reactivate a Separated Employee in Carbonate ?

When an employee who was previously marked as separated (due to resignation, termination, or inactive status) returns to work, the Admin must rejoin or reactivate their profile in Carbonate.

The most important feature of Carbonate is that it provides reset options when rejoining or reactivating an employee. This allows the admin to clear or retain specific data such as attendance, claims, and leave records.

Steps to Rejoin a Separated Employee :-

Step 1:

Go to the “Staff List” section.

Step 2:

Click on the profile of the employee who was separated.

Step 3:

In the General tab, scroll down and click on the “Status” dropdown.

Step 4:

Select the “Confirmed” option.

Step 5:

Choose the reset options as needed, then click “Continue.”

  • Reset Attendance: Removes all previous attendance history for the user.
  • Reset Claims: Removes all previous claim records for the user.
  • Reset Leave: Resets and reallocates the user’s leave balance, based on the option selected — either “As per old allocated leave” or “As per current leave allocation settings.”
Step 6:

If you do not wish to reset any data, click “Continue” without selecting any reset checkbox options.

Step 7:

Fill in other required information and complete the form.

Step 8:

Make sure to click on the “Save” button of General Tab for data to be pushed to the database.
