Where Should the Overtime Compensation To Be Included in Payslips
If you want the overtime compensation to include whether in the Post CPF Allowance or in the Additional Wage Allowance, follow these steps below to implement the same in Carbonate.
Please login to carbonateapp.com with your credential’s and then click on Settings from the left side of the menu.
Click on the ‘Attendance’ Settings from the category list as shown in the sample image.
Scroll down, until you see the ‘Compensation in Payslips’ Settings.
If you choose the additional wage allowance, the compensation will go to the employees’ Net Pay which is taxable.
After changing the settings, scroll down through the bottom, and click on the ‘Save’ button.
If you want to change the Compensation in Payslips to ‘Post CPF Allowance’, enable this option, as shown in the sample image.
If you choose the Post CPF Allowance option, the payment for the overtime of the employees will be non-taxable.
After changing the settings, scroll down through the bottom, and click on the ‘Save’ button.
