Navigate the Personal Settings

Staff, Managers, and Admin have the access to their Personal Settings in Carbonate that contains a set up of language, accounts, notifications, and so on.

Ensure that a user account has been created in the Carbonate HR and you have downloaded the mobile app.

Step 1. Set Language

On the dashboard, go to Settings. Click the Personal tab.

Select a language you feel comfortable with (English or Chinese).

Step 2. Notifications

There are two types of Notifications

  • Email Notifications
  • Mobile Notifications

These notifications are related to this admin account.

You may disable them if you do not wish to receive any notifications.

Announcements. You will receive a notification when new announcement is released where you are included as recipient.

Leave request updates. You will receive a notification when the Approving Manager take action on your request either approving or rejecting thereof.

Payroll notifications. You will receive a notification when payroll is generated and processed.
 
Appraisal notifications. You will receive a notification when there is a new ongoing or upcoming cycle of appraisal available.
 
Roster notifications. You will receive a notification when there are updates about the rostering, work schedules, and etc.
 
Please do not send me any notifications. Ticking this box means you will not receive any notifications.
Step 3. Check-in/out Confirmation

Employees will get the ‘confirmation’ notification for successful check-in and check-out.

Note :

  • If the “Check-in/out Confirmation” box is check for mobile notification then the user will receive notification on mobile only.
  • If the “Check-in/out Confirmation” box is check for email notification then the user will receive notification via email only.

 

  • The employee  uses the thermal scanner for check-in/out also get the notification if the boxes are checked for mobile/email notification
Step 4. Connected Accounts

You can add multiple accounts.

Step 5. Reset Password

Click on the “Click to Reset Password” and enter a new password. Make sure that it is strong but easy for you to remember.

Click the Save button.
