Carbonate, the HR application that we all know and love now comes new and improved!

Significant additions and improvements have been made to components of the application.

This series of blog posts covers these updates and today’s blog post will guide you through some of the hot new features of the Organisation Chart section of the Carbonate application.

Your Organisation Chart is where you get a clear picture of the size and structure of your workforce. It’s a powerful tool that shows you different levels, connections, roles, and responsibilities as well as which individuals are accountable for different staff members.
Once you are logged into Carbonate, navigate over to the Org Chart section of the menu.

You will immediately be able to see the different levels of main roles within your organisation as well as their names, profile pictures, and titles/designations.

You may also notice this below a title/designation:

It is the number of people that report directly to the person and by clicking on the person in the Organisation Chart, you will be able to uncover the chain of people below the person.

By expanding the chain, you will see clear links between roles, ranks, and people.

Clear visibility can make running your organisation more efficient. You can understand where responsibilities lie and how different roles come together to form a department or part of your organisation.

Through the new upgrade, you can also view a complete trail of staff reporting for more efficient recording and benefit from an intuitive, interactive interface in a simple and elegant design

Your organisation chart can help you scale/prepare for the future in a more systematic and deliberate way.
