Enable the Attendance Bubble by Rank
In Carbonate HR, the company may opt to create an attendance bubble. The attendance bubble allows the employees to perform their attendance on a certain time duration based on their shift.
For example: if a shift starts at 9 am and you have created a bubble of 60min, the check-in will only be recorded if done between 8 am - 10 am. The same goes too for the checkout if enabled.
Before doing so, the Carbonate will require to allow the browser to track your location. Hence, the outlet must be created and the location is accessible and visible. Below are the user guides for your reference.
On the dashboard, go to the Settings and click the Attendance tab.
Go to the attendance bubble.
On “Do you want to create bubble around work shifts start for checkin to be performed, toggle the Yes button.
Set bubble for check in by entering the number in minutes.
Then, tick the box if you prefer to set the bubble before or after shift.
On “Do you want to create bubble around work shifts start for checkout to be performed”, toggle the Yes button.
Set bubble for check out by entering the number in minutes.
Then, tick the box if you prefer to set the bubble before or after shift.
Click Yes on “Do you want bubble to be set for certain ranks only? “
Select ranks on which the attendance bubble is applicable.
Click Save.
