Bulk Import the Pay Components Under Payroll
On Carbonate, you can bulk import the pay components.
Follow the below steps to implement the same in Carbonate:
Step 1
On the dashboard, go to the Payroll section.
Step 2
Select the employees and click on Edit pay items.
Step 3
Click on the Select import option.
Click the Import pay components.
Step 4.
Click on the “Download” the sample file.
Step 5.
Remove the sample data inside it and add the records as per the given sample.
Available types: Post-CPF Allowance, Additional Deduction, Additional Allowance, Over Time, and Post-CPF Deduction
Save the file as .XLSX
Step 6.
Click on attach XLSX.
Step 7.
The records added will now appear under the payroll section.
Click on Generate payslips.
Step 8.
It will now appear in the payslip.
