Window For Leave
How to define the allocation window for leave?
A leave allocation window is a predefined time-bound period during which specific leave types are granted and usable by the employee. The leave entitlement is automatically applied at the beginning of the period and expires once the period ends.
Below are the steps for how you can use this feature in Carbonate:-
Step 1
Go to the “Settings” module.
Step 2
Click on the “Leave/Holiday” tab.
Step 3
Click on “Add Leave type”.
Step 4
Fill all the necessary leave type details. (like Leave type name, Leave days etc.)
Step 5
Now enable “Define allocation window for Leave”.
Step 6
Select the Validity start day and Validity end day.
Step 7
Scroll down and Click on the “Save” button.
